Who operates this workspace
Reshomie can be deployed by different operators. The person or organization running the installation you use is responsible for its infrastructure, service providers, and privacy requests. Public operator and contact details, when configured, appear below.
What the application stores
We store your email address, account and session records, resume drafts, saved resume versions, applications, job descriptions, contacts, interview details, reminders, notes, preferences, and export metadata. Exported PDF and Word files are stored in the installation’s object storage. Avoid entering information you do not want this operator to hold.
Why the data is used
Your information is used to authenticate you, save and render documents, create exports, preserve submitted versions, organize applications, recover edits, and operate the service. Authentication and export endpoints also use short-lived rate-limit records to limit abuse.
Email and infrastructure providers
A configured email provider receives the recipient address and sign-in message, including the one-time login link, to deliver authentication emails. Hosting, database, storage, and backup providers may process data as part of the operator’s deployment. The development installation captures email in Mailpit. The software does not send resumes or job descriptions to generative AI services.
Cookies and device storage
Necessary cookies maintain sign-in sessions and protect authentication flows. IndexedDB stores draft recovery on your device, including changes that have not synchronized. A first-party preference cookie remembers your appearance choice for up to one year. Local storage remembers the public storage-notice dismissal. See Cookies & storage for details. Browser-local data is specific to that browser and can be lost when you clear site data.
Private workspaces and sharing
Application endpoints require authentication and enforce account ownership. Resumes and applications are not published as public profiles. Download links require the owning session and expire after ten minutes. Anyone you send an exported file to can retain their copy.
Retention and deletion
Content is retained while it belongs to your account. In Settings you can export your account content as JSON or delete your account. Account deletion removes active database records and stored export files and clears the current device’s recovery entries. Other devices may retain local recovery data until you clear their site data. Backup retention and eventual backup deletion depend on the deployment operator’s backup policy.
Your choices and requests
You can edit your content, download individual exports, export account data, and delete your account in Settings. Contact the deployment operator for requests that cannot be completed there, including questions about applicable privacy rights, infrastructure locations, or backup retention.
Operational limits and updates
The application does not include advertising trackers or third-party analytics by default. An operator who changes the deployment’s processing must update its published information. This page describes the application as shipped; it does not assert certification under a particular privacy law.
This installation
This installation has not published a support mailbox. For hosted-service questions, use the contact channel provided by the person or organization that gave you access. For a self-hosted installation, the deployment owner manages infrastructure and account requests.
Account export, deletion, and sign-out are available in Settings.
